As you head into a new week, here are 4 powerful steps to help you along your self-mastery path.
I only write about things I practice in my own life.
What I can tell you is these 4 mindsets work.
What if you could build a better brain, create more powerfully, make more money, and enjoy more freedom?
As a man that makes his money by using his brain and creating, it’s important to activate your body and mind at a deeper level than caffeine could ever provide for you.
Unfortunately, so many don’t do this because it requires that you win against the resistance of your current behavior.
Can you relate to these?
My man, all of the above are forms of resistance challenging you to see if you have what it takes to earn the right to win.
Here’s how you can begin winning your mornings, step by step:
Fitness and movement are your gateway to winning the day because it moves blood and oxygen through your body.
You can get your workout in for the day, by doing a 30-minute full body routine, or you can do a quick 5-minute mobility flow. Just move.
Once you finish moving, it’s important to settle your mind and open yourself to the power of the day.
Just lay flat on the floor, or sit comfortably in a chair, and have 2-minutes of intentional quiet time. Breathe and visualize your upcoming wins for the day.
It’s important to write for a few minutes because during your movement and quiet time thoughts will emerge.
Take 5 minutes to write to yourself. What would make today successful? What’s most important right now? How will I show up today?
As men, it’s important that we have the ultimate respect for our mornings and keep them sacred. If we do, our odds of winning instantly increase.
Those are 2 very powerful principles that put you squarely in the driver seat of creating your future.
It’s important to understand that even if you don’t do the work required to reduce friction and take aligned action, you are still creating your future.
The difference is, you don’t feel like you’re in the driver’s seat. Instead, life is driving you around and you don’t know where the hell you’re about to end up.
You see…
… there are 2 different levels of creating your future. What you do EVERY DAY determines the level you’re on. The level you’re on determines your life.
Let’s break down the two levels.
This is the life where you wake up everyday and repeat the same ‘ole. A lot of what you’re repeating isn’t valuable toward what you keep saying you want your life to look like.
It feels like you’re just drifting through and accepting your current situations as they are… while knowing you want more.
There’s lots of complaining, wishing, depression, anxiety, and feelings of defeat built into this level.
This is the life where you:
There’s lot of REAL confidence, power, fulfillment, and feelings of victory built into this level.
It’s not easy. It requires courage to step into the arena.
Once you’re in that arena, through all the doubt, criticism, and naysayers, you’ll begin to build your power.
Understand this…
… you don’t have to be a master to start operating on the mastery level, but you have to start operating on the mastery level to become a master. Read that again.
You will gain your own level of mastery based on how you choose to behave every day.
So, yes, you’re always creating your future. Do it intentionally.
As ambitious men, there’s no doubt we thrive under a certain amount of pressure.
It fuels us. It gives us the momentum we need to persevere.
There always comes a breaking point though.
At that breaking point is where a man can set fires and destroys the most meaningful things in his life.
I’m challenging you to avoid getting to this point.
Yes:
Just pay attention, and understand when it’s time to release the pressure.
Here at The Committed Man, we call the pressure points “Push Phases” and the release points “Recovery Phases.”
This morning I need to release some pressure.
A 5-mile walk and some free-flow journaling did the trick.
Go hard for what you want in life.
Be intelligent enough to release the pressure along the way.
Recession-proof your manhood by developing a deep principled respect for T.I.M.E.
The . Intentional . Man . Earns .
He earns:
T.I.M.E. is undefeated. That means, the intentional man who is focused on earning, in every area of his life, is undefeated.
YOU have everything you need to be EVERYTHING you envision yourself to be.
Imagine the trajectory of your life when you go all in on YOU.
IMAGINE it.
ACT on it.
BE it.
We are THE COMMITTED… and together WE RISE!
Peace, truth, and love.
