You and I, we are men.
We play a massive role on this planet and I want you to know this:
You’re doing better than you think you are.
You’re an ambitious man and I know you’re choosing more for life.
If you’ve been on this newsletter for more than a week, then you know mastery of self is the greatest freedom a man can experience.
Self-mastery is a life-long journey.
Along the way, there are levels to be achieved.
However, each level has the same undeniable foundation.
That foundation is: Respect for Self.
Respect your body.
Respect your relationships.
Respect your mindset.
Respect your money.
Respect your time.
Respect your vision.
Respect your process.
Respect your internal voice.
Respect your word.
Respect YOU.
If you’re anything like me, there are areas in your life that you’re choosing to improve. Respect the intentional discomfort required when it’s time for you to take action.
We’re on this path of self-mastery, together.
I respect you for having the courage to keep stepping up.
SELF-MASTERY IS THE GAME
Self-Mastery is a man’s journey of intentional growth.
This growth is often brought on by unforeseen resistance, and that’s perfect.
When a man is rooted in his self-mastery mission, resistance feels like a spiritual growth path being laid out before him.
He’s not a victim of the resistance. No.
He understands the resistance is calling forward a piece of him that’s underdeveloped for the next phase of his journey.
He must experience what it’s like to GROW through resistance using virtues, traits, and discipline that will undoubtedly create discomfort in his life.
This discomfort is necessary.
It’s not put there to break him. It’s put there to empower him.
Yes, empower him to step up and participate fully in this one life he’s given.
Empower him to take meaningful action now, instead of later… understanding that sometimes the most meaningful action is sitting still and receiving the lesson that’s being downloaded to his soul.
This is the essence of self-mastery, knowing when to pursue and when to pause.
Pursuing is not about unnecessary force and pressure.
Pausing is not about being passive and weak.
Pursuing is about a calm and confident state of engaging in aligned action.
Pausing is about going slow long enough to receive the next steps for what to pursue and how to pursue it.
Pursuing and pausing is the move.
Self-Mastery is the game.
